She Has a Deal

She Has a Deal (SHaD) is a movement to transform the hospitality industry by creating new pathways to hotel ownership + development for women. A key feature of SHaDPitch is our Learn, Connect, and Invest model wherein we educate women and people of color on how to become Sponsors of hotel investments; connect them with experienced industry leaders for mentorship, and link them with an ecosystem to maximize their potential for success in bringing their viable hotel deals to life. She Has a Deal’s signature Hotel Investment Pitch Competition, SHaDPitch, launched in 2020 with the goal of increasing the number of women hotel owners and developers by catapulting participants on their journey to hotel ownership. SHaDPitch is an epic event culminating with a big reveal of the winners at the Annual SHaD Awards & Networking Luncheon. This year’s event will be held April 27-28, 2023, in Bethesda, Maryland, at the New Marriott HQ.
