September 26, 2023
The Hunter Hotel Investment Conference (“HUNTER”) is pleased to welcome Daphne Lin as Manager of Strategic Partnerships. Lin will work with sponsors and vendors in this newly imagined role to create valuable and unforgettable experiences at HUNTER. Lin joins HUNTER as part of a strategic structural reorganization that will enable the conference to grow and drive success in 2024 and beyond.
“Since its inception in 1989, the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference has sought to create a conference environment unlike anything else offered to the hospitality industry. As our event has grown throughout the years, so too have our aspirations. In this new role, Daphne Lin will lead our team in providing a first-class experience to our sponsors and attendees. We are thrilled to welcome her to the HUNTER family,” said Lee Hunter, Hunter Hotel Investment Conference Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Hunter Hotel Advisors.
Lin brings over a decade of experience in creative services and relationship management across entertainment, design, and advertising. Previously, she managed brand partnerships at Warner Bros. Discovery, where she connected brands across TV, digital, social, and experiential platforms. In this role, she was responsible for various promotions from conceit through execution with clients, including Disney, State Farm, Burger King, Wrangler, and Apple.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the HUNTER team and to work closely with distinguished leaders in the hotel real estate and investment field. It’s exciting to join an industry that I’ve followed and admired for a long time. I look forward to bringing my expertise to the conference and collaborating with our partners on new-to-market opportunities,” said Daphne Lin, Manager of Strategic Partnerships for the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference.
Before joining Warner Bros. Discovery, Lin worked in design and advertising agencies in New York, where she secured press and thought leadership opportunities with the New York Times, SXSW, Fast Company, and more. She serves on the Grant Park Parents Network board, leading the organization’s rebranding efforts and managing new parent membership. Lin has her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Emory University, enjoys traveling, and attempts to read 30 books every year.
