Bob Hunter
Bob Hunter founded Hunter Hotel Advisors in 1978 and built it into one of the nation’s leading hotel brokerage companies. As he built his company and forged relationships with hotel owners, lenders, and entrepreneurs, Bob identified a need for a hospitality conference centered on growing relationships in the industry. Through a partnership with Georgia State University, Bob launched what is now known as the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference: a conference for anyone involved in the hotel industry looking to network and gather key insights into the buying, selling, and management of hotels.
A graduate of Georgia Tech and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Bob is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants and achieved the designation of CHB (Certified Hotel Broker) from the University of Texas/HBI. Bob has retired from the full-time management of the business and enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, and playing tennis.
